Armeid Thompson is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in project management, executive support, and quality assurance. With a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Longwood University, Armeid brings a unique perspective to her role, leveraging skills in strategic planning, financial management, and event coordination.
Armeid's journey began as an Executive Assistant in the tourism field, where she honed her organizational and administrative skills. She excelled in managing calendars, coordinating travel arrangements, and facilitating communication between departments and stakeholders. Transitioning into the private sector, Armeid provided crucial support in financial planning, international travel logistics, and office management. Her proficiency in SAP systems and project management methodologies facilitated the smooth execution of tasks and projects. Armeid's expertise grew as she took on expanded roles, where she oversaw product development activities, implemented Agile methodologies, and ensured compliance with quality standards and procedures.
With a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, Armeid has consistently delivered results in her various roles. Her strong communication skills, coupled with her proficiency office technology applications and project management tools, make her a valuable asset to the Black Archives executive environment.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Armeid is deeply involved in community initiatives, serving as a certified PADI Emergency First Response Instructor and Master Scuba Diving Trainer. She also contributes her expertise as a Hospitality Assured Business Advisor for the Caribbean Tourism Organization and a Customer Service Trainer for the National Initiative for Service Excellence.
